I live between Old Town and the Proctor District and it is very nice here. I know University Place and Fircrest are nice. Don't think I would live anywhere in Tacoma if I could not live where I am or one of these places. The Taste of Tacoma is going on this weekend at Point Defiance.

Hosmer is on the east side of I5 near Lakewood. There is some shopping there but the area is touch and go. I work not too far from there and would not go shopping at night.
