Hello, I am in the Navy and will be transfering to Everett from Hawaii. I am having trouble finding a house or duplex to rent, that allows large dogs. I have a Lab/Husky mix about 60 lbs. We will be there on July 1.
If anyone has or knows of a place that will be available on or around that time for about 1,100 a month that would be great. I have been looking on craigslist but can't find much that fits my needs. Thanks to all. Martin |

These might be helpful --
a recent thread on the subject in City-Data: Marysville question About a comment in the first post there, there's no "the 5" here. It's I-5 ("eye5" without "the"). and an interesting site, Navy Life Pacific Northwest: Navylifepnw.com :: Family Housing I've always heard people say to stay away from Casino Road in Everett. Marysville is less expensive, generally, than Everett, but stay away from west of the railroad or right in downtown. Last edited by allforcats; 04-22-2008 at 04:20 PM. |

I think Marysville would be a great place to rent in and commute to base. It's enough country, but still close to stores, libraries, pools, outlet mall, and pet store! Our Marysville rental house is back on the market for rent and would be perfect for you (and your dog with a fenced back yard), however, it's a 1500+ sq ft house and rent would be $1550/month. Let me know if you're interested!

$1550 is pretty rich, unless it has 4 or more bedrooms.
