Default Snohomish/Marysville possible relocation

Hi... my husband and I are thinking of moving somewhere around the Snohomish area or north/west if a dream job comes through. We have explored that area, as well as Camano Island/Stanwood, and north. We would be moving from Central Oregon, where we do have a lot of sunny days, however 7-8 months of what I call "winter", with really only a couple of months a year when it doesn't have to potential to freeze at night. We both appreciate a milder climate temperature-wise, and are just not sure yet how we will do with the amount of rain/grey days. We find that part of Washington so beautiful, and really feel like it is a home we have been longing for. Can anyone share thoughts? Also, I LOVE the ocean, love the islands, and really long to live near the water again. Also, my husband is into 4WD's/Jeeps, and we wonder if there are many of those enthusiasts in that area? Thanks!

Camano Island and Stanwood are both great areas, Snohomish is a neat town. Have you looked into Lake Stevens? The grey/rainy days aren't so bad...you'll get used to it and learn to appreciate the sunny days! There are a lot of 4WD/Jeep enthusiasts in our area...I have a friend who goes riding near Monroe...which is very close to Snohomish. A lot of people in this area really enjoy the outdoors.

Good luck with your move.
