Woke up to blue skies and sun with some early morning frost on the grass which is quickly melting. It looks to be a very nice day if you want to get outside and go for a hike, paddle, etc...

We finally got some sun this morning (NW WA) and had a hard frost overnight, which I prefer to the rain. The valley is full of fog, which is scenic but slowly overtaking the morning sun.

We had a fog this morning too. Thick! But once it burned off we had some sun. I forgot to take a weather picture today so this one will have to
do … Proof it was sunny and dry enough to go get a load of hay, which our barn kitties helped to inspect as it was unloaded.

It was a great Sunday to get outside with a nice mix of sun and clouds. I had a relaxing paddle on the lake which I had almost entirely to myself. Then, there was a nice sunset followed by clear skies. I'm glad the sun hit between rain bands on the weekend. Looks like rain for next week.

Sure, this is Lacamas Lake. Its one of the nicer ones in the area. However, from Ridgefield you also have Vancouver Lake and Lake River within close proximity.
