Default Stay at home moms in (north) Tacoma

Hi,

My husband and I are visiting family in North Tacoma with the idea to check it out to possibly move here and we love it. We are seriously considering moving here, but I'm a little nervous about such a big move (we live in Los Angeles now). Does anyone know if there are a lot of SAHMs here? I am one and am worried about feeling isolated, especially since we're moving from such a big city. I've mentioned this before, but my husband works from home and would like to go to Seattle to perform there but doesn't need to a lot, so Tacoma seemed reasonable. Is Tacoma a good place for a new family? Like I said we love the feel of the neighborhood where our relatives live, in north Tacoma. We have an almost 2 year old and another on the way... Thanks in advance!

Natasha

The north end is wonderful. There the glass museum, Point Defiance, lots of parks, and stuff for kids to do. Even with the price of gas through the roof at least there lots to do close to "home". Plus there the Y right there too. The libraries are wonderful. The "Life Center" has non-denominational pre-school and pre-kindergarten. It's a great place to live. (no why i now live in Phoenix, lol)
