Hey I went to San fran back in 99 or 2000. It was in May which it is hot as hell here by then and when those sliding glass doors opened at the airport in San Fran and that ocean air hit my face I was like OMG im in heaven. Even then I stopped by a town called Paso Robles. There was a neighborhood of homes that didnt face the beach, they were more like siding it, anyway I picked up the brochure and it was 676 thousand,. I almost peed my pants LOL. Geeeez people. Since then I watched those prices go sky high. You know that was during the scandals that drove those prices up. Barney Frank I think it is who is parlyl responsible for that. I didnt keep up with all of that news but it was mortgage scams. That is at least party why houses rose and now look.Sad.
When I was in Victoria I had many conversaions with the locals about health care reform. They all asked why we dont trust our goverment. I said probably because they lie to us. Canadians are very happy with their health care and govermnet in general. One reason ive picked Maple Falls is it is close to the border so if I need to run to Canada for any reason I can LOL.

Well if you get one buy it soon. People are hoarding ammo so that's very difficult to get and a gun without ammo is useless.
676,000 to live in SF that will put you in the high crime part of town where the drugs and shooting run rampant. With $676,000 you can now find something decent but usually out of SF. Just think what your taxes would be on that figure.
I have been to Vancouver and it was around that same time of 1991 and on the way up there to the border there is a place with lots of trees no close neighbors, lots of trees I can't remember the name of that place but it was nice. I guess that's why Custer gets another point for being near the border.
There are other communities near the border if I heard the names that might jar my memory as to the neighbor hoo I stayed at.
