Default Aberdeen photos

I know I am going to get beat up for this, but here are some photos I took recently around Aberdeen. Yes, it's a terrible place, everybody's poor, there's nothing to do and it rains all the time. There's even a sign as you enter town, it says, "Give up hope, all ye who enter this despicable spot." There's been a spike in the rate of cats and dogs and seagulls committing suicide recently.

I escaped to Grays Harbor from big city living, and everyone that visits is always surprised at how nice it can be when we get off the beaten path. These city dwellers who thought I was nuts (heck, I thought I was nuts) when we decided to move out here, are usually genuinely shocked that Wal Mart and McDonalds don't encompass the entire culture of Grays Harbor.
