more photos of Ocean Shores
I took these photos yesterday. I was driving around, looking for the alleged "run down, seedy, & dirty" section of Ocean Shores, and for the life of me, I couldn't find it! I drove around for two hours.

First of all, take the Real Estate Agent filter off of your glasses, then spend the next two hours driving around east of Pt. Brown Ave and north of Chance a La Mer.

Hey, thanks gotvette, for posting these photos of the recent snow in Ocean Shores! We bought a lot in Ocean Shores last spring and are looking forward to putting a nice home on it as soon as we can. I was wondering how much snow Ocean Shores got in the recent December snowstorm and how it "looked". Thanks to you, now I know!
I would also add, for anyone who reads the Ocean Shores, WA threads in the future, that Ocean Shores is a very peaceful and relaxing place with miles of beach you can walk or drive on. Plus a nice bay, too. There is such a feeling of "space" and "peace" in Ocean Shores. Only one four-way "stop" in the whole town.
As for employment, many residents of Ocean Shores are retired. Some people commute to Aberdeen or elsewhere for work. While other people quietly work from home via the internet (websites or blogs) or by telecommuting to jobs elsewhere. It can be done, if you are resourceful and determined enough. Coast Communications provides cable-based internet, along with cable tv and phone service.
I will be working from home via the net myself when we move to Ocean Shores. Just as I am now. Just as you could, too. So be creative and create your own means of income. It can be done.
D. Peace
