Just FYI...Pullman is a town of about 20K ONLY when students are present for school. The population shrinks by about 18,000 in the summer! Really, the only thing in Pullman is a couple of pizza places, a few bars, some fast food, grocery stores and a really great school! Go Cougs!

Walla Walla, Washington it is a beautiful little town of approximately 28,000 pop. The penitentiary is also located there. It has 2 colleges Whitman College, and Walla Walla Community College both have beautiful campuses! College Place which is just out side of Walla Walla has the Walla Walla University there. Walla Walla has many amnities to offer, beautiful parks, rolling wheat fields along with rolling hill of grapes, along with allot of wineries, they have rennovated the downtown area really looks sharp, etc.
Just something to think about, I suggest it would be worthwhile looking into. I lived there for quite afew years, moved to Yakima, which I am leaving because I don't care of the city.
Good Luck in you endeavors!

Badgernut,

Check out Olympia. It has about 40,000 inhabitants, is located on the southern tip of Puget Sound, has good schools, fantastic views of both the Olympic and Cascade mountain ranges and offers a variety shopping and dining venues, as well as employment opportunities. If you don't need a mansion or acreage, you can get a home in the low $200Ks. I hope you'll check it out online, or get a chance to visit.

Sandy

Today, the racial diversity of TC is White (Germanic), Hispanic, and the occasional Russian.

This is possibly the most ludicrious statement I've seen in a long time- What in the WORLD are you basing that on? and how the heck do you know that the whites are Germanic? and how can you ID the occasional Russian roaming around? You are correct about Hispanics at least....
