Arrow Re: Moving to Lake Stevens, Pros and Cons??

Thanks again,
That weather is just what we like!

We taking courses through University Of Pheonix Online. Which is strictley a online college, so I dont think we have pay out of state tuition...but I will have to look into that!

Diggitydot, how funny...im leaving California to get away from my parents and are going to be living close to my in-laws.

Thats is all for my questions right now, but ANY other pros and cons about Lake Stevens are great! Every little bit helps!

Shelly

I second everything MunchiesMommie said. I live near Lake Stevens in Marysville, my mom lives right on the Marysville/Lk Stevens border, bro and sis went to Lk Stevens schools.

One thing that hasn't been stressed enough is how bad traffic is getting onto I-5 via Hwy 2. It can take an hour to get across that small stretch of road during rush hour, on top of the regular i-5 congestion. It's the reason we bought in Marysville instead of Lk Stevens...

You're right Apple Butter. I didn't think of that, my husband works 10-7 and I don't work, so we don't encounter any of that. Our old neighbors are Navy, and they just head up 9 and take Sunnycrest to those bridges so they can avoid all the traffic.

Hi there

Just curious about Lake stevens. my husband works in Lynnwood and we have been trying to get moved over there for that last 9 months now. co workers have told my husband to look into lake stevens and what I have seen of it, picture wise it is very beautiful and housing seems very reasonable compared to bothell millcreek area. My question is we are a interracial couple black/white with and 11 yro son. Would Lake Stevens be a good place for us to call our new home?
