Good luck, Daytripper! You have a quite an adventurous year ahead of you. Our timing was nearly the same as yours, just one year ago. We left Orlando, FL last year on July 3, arriving in Poulsbo, WA, on July 10 (visited a few days in AZ with family enroute). This has been a exciting year of exploration of our new area, meeting many wonderful new friends and lots of challenging "projects" in our home & yard. We LOVE living here and hope you will too.

Lynn

That is so cool. We are moving from Iowa to Washington also. My hubby and 18 yr old son are on their way out right now. We are staying here until the house gets sold. (not a good time to try and sell right now!) We are looking at the Lake Stevens area. Just nice to hear people that are excited about the state. The dreary weather comments scare me a little!

Welcome to Washington, one of the most beautiful states in the nation! Oregon pretty much ties it though and if British Columbia were a state, it might take the lead.
