Try Griffith Furniture Inc on Meridian. My mother got some pretty good deals there.

Default shopping for furniture in Bellingham

My husband and I went to every furniture store in town when we were looking for couch for our new home. We found the perfect one with perfect prices at Lowery's furniture. Nothing fancy, very comfy. Last I saw a couple weeks ago, they were having a "moving sale."

Whatever you do, don't go to Wilson's. Pretty snobby place. We went there on our couch hunt. I guess we weren't dressed properly or something. We looked through the whole place, sat on the couches, and no one came to talk to us. Never mind we were carrying cash! Needless to say, we did see a couple there we liked, but since we weren't acknowledge at all, we left.
