Question Best places to live in Washington

I may be moving from Las Vegas to WA in a yr or two. Have two grandchildren and daughter coming along. We are retired and she works in medical field. Need safe schools, safe living, and shopping. Somewhere close enough to airport for visit from family. We are used to high gas prices and such, just need a culturally accepted environment for biracial family. Any suggestions?

Welcome! Western Washington is very relaxed in terms of vibes among races and ethnicities and mixes. Very relaxed. Now what you need to do is decide where you want to work and live near that, because commutes can be painfully long. And also where you want your grandchildren to go to school.

Thank you so much for your reply. It's kind of scary not knowing where to start. But at least I have time to research before we move. I would like to live close to shopping schools and hospitals. I heard Vancouver is a nice area, but not too sure about medical jobs available. I will start with the info you forwarded to me. Thanks again.
