There is also a grocery outlet in Hawks Prairie on Martin Way and Marvin Rd. They seem to be a little better than their west-side counterpart. We do the bulk of our shopping there and fill in the specialties at Safeway or Walmart. there is a Trader Joe's on the west-side on Black Lake. A new Winco's is being built on Martin Way out towards Hawks Prairie and if it is typical of their chain it will be a great place to shop. Other than that the Olympia/Lacey area is a slightly higher costing place to live.
