Interested in moving to Moses Lake
I am a bit upset to find out that Moses Lake Wa. has such a high crime reat....mostly rape. I have 5 girls and wondered if anyone could enlighten me as to why so much rape is happening there, if it is getting better, what areas to stay away from, are the rapists being caught, etc. I am very worried about moving my kids to this area when there is this huge issue. If anyone can help that would be great.

I've lived here for 11 years and haven't found this to be true. Moses Lake is a safe place. Call the local police department and get the straight facts.

Isn't there a college there? This could be due to date rape, but I'm just guessing.
Let me know what you find out, this is one of our top picks also.

The only thing I could think of would be the migrant workers but they genrally are no problem.
Lots of processing plants around Othello. If I had the chance Moses Lake would be a good place to be. O'sullivan Resevoir the pot holes, major fishing and outdoor activities to be had.

I have 4 girls and, no concerns for bad guys. Local law wnforcment is excellent at catching the bad guys.

The thing to worry about with Moses Lake is its location to Northern Idaho. Good place to raise racists, not rapists!!

Unfortunately jadybug has a valid point ...I haven't heard or been on the news any negative rapes on the news, be it TV or radio...I live south of Moses Lake, near the Columbian basin...
Yes, to get the straight anwers on your concern with your children is contact the local police for the city you are interested in....before moving..also the chamber of commerce may have some information for you as well. I am interested in relocating to moses lake. does anyone have any information on services for autistic adults. Idaho pays parents 53.39 a day to keep their child at home. does wash. offer anything similar? any info would be grealty appreciated... oh, how about costs of homes, can I get a 3/4 bedrm. 2 bath for around 150,000. how about foreclosures.
