Any other folks out there in the Evergreen State? If so, where?

Fellow Mossback....
Hey, I'm from Washington, how'd you guess? Used to live in Southern California, but moved about 6 years ago. Where are you from?

Hi - I live in So Cal now and I'm looking to move to WA. The two areas I am interested in are Woodinville and Blaine/Semiahmoo. Do you like living in Woodinville? Was is it an easy transition from So Cal to WA? Do you miss anything from CA?

New to WA
I am now in WA for the past 7 months after living in the Palm Springs area of Southern CA. I am in Sammamish and I love it! So far I don't think I would ever move back.

Hi all,
I moved to Washington from Milwaukee, WI in 1979. I have also lived in Reno, NV Mountain Home, Idaho (Military) and Portland, OR. As for Washington, I have lived in Seattle, Vancouver, Wenatchee, and Spokane. I am in Seattle now put may be moving back to Vancouver soon. I love Washington and will never leave if I can avoid it.

Washington
I'm from Spokane WA and born and raised in Chewelah WA. I never want to live where there are no trees, mountains and fresh water lakes. It is all right here!!!

Washington Native Here
I'm from Washington and live in a small town called, Sedro Woolley and been here all my life and would never want to live anywhere else. I live close to the foothills of the Cascades. If you don't mind a little rain Washington is a GREAT state to live in. We have it all here for outdoor activities and NO Tornado's or hurricanes.
I couldn't move from here ever. At my age I don't think I'd adjust moving someplace where I don't have access to the lakes, rivers, ocean, mountains we have here. I'd get really homesick. I only have 25 minutes between me and an area of the (Puget)Sound. Another hour and I'd be up in the mountains.

I moved up here 5 months ago to Greenacres. Yes, Greenacres, from Southern California. Mission Viejo in fact. I totally love it up here. It feels as if I am on an extended vacation. The winter has not been bad at all. I wish there was more snow! I strongly advise that ANYONE, who is living in the OC, to get out of there as soon as possible. Especially if you have children. Mine are 9 & 7 and they do not miss the OC at all. We went back for Christmas and they couldn't wait to get back here. For sure, this is the best decision my family ever made.

It's so wonderful to see all the positive posts about living in Washington. I particularly enjoy the ones from people who moved from California, like this last one! We are moving to Washington from California pretty soon and are very excited about it.
I have been researching online with the help of Google for a long time. There is so much information online if you just dig.
