SUGGESTIONS PLEASE: Where to hold husband's b-day party (So. Snohomish, N. King) (Seattle: how much)

Have never done this before but would like to hold my husband's birthday party at a restaurant or hotel (will consider a bar) in March.

Location? We live in Lynnwood, as far north as we want to go for this. No farther south than Downtown Seattle. Bellevue is probably a little too far east.

How many? Hard to say...how ever many would show up!! Could be 25....50....100.....
My husband came here from Russia 17 years ago and would be happy to see old and new acquaintances show up, in addition to relatives and friends. (Yes, availability of vodka is probably desirable!)

Budget? Don't know, need some guidelines. (Hoped to stay under 2K)


Suggestion and information on previous experiences will be most welcome!

Have you considered one of the Casino's??? This way it doesn't matter how many show up and it will feel like a big party.

My husband and I attended a company Christmas party at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Lynnwood a few years ago, I couldn't say how much it cost but the party was great. The room was nice and intimate for about 100 people with buffet style dining. We actually stayed the nite as well and really enjoyed the experience overall. They have a large atrium in the middle of the hotel and a restaurant and bar. We also went to a dinner theatre party for my birthday at and italian restaurant, Mia Roma's in Kenmore a couple of years ago that was really fun and has a great room seperate from the main dining area. Again I don't know the cost of reserving anything there but you could check into it. Good luck!
