Car theft and property crime are a bit high through parts of Lynnwood. Edmonds has the lowest crime of the three.

Lynnwood would have the cheapest housing. You can find modern housing in all three places. Mill Creek has the newest downtown area.

Edmonds is the nicest of the three. Edmonds and Lynnwood are both part of the Edmonds school district, which is pretty good, and Mill Creek is part of the Everett district, which isn't nearly as good.

Eventhough Mill Creek is in the Everett School District the schools are very good. Also, you can find very affordable housing on the outskirts of Mill Creek like unincorporated Bothell or Silver Firs (Everett Address).

I would stay away from Lynnwood. But Edmonds and Mill Creek are great! So is Bothell and there schools are fabulous not to mention it is a very central area to Bellvue and Seattle. Housing is a bit more expensive in those area's but with the current market it is a great time to buy!
