Ever notice in the Washington forum...
...how common it is for people to post:
"Hi, we're from southern California, we are thinking of moving to Washington, we want all the amenities of a big city but cheap housing and low unemployment, what do you suggest?"
Every time I see those, I remember back to when I lived in Seattle and the loathing of all things California was something you could almost feel in the air. And I think: "Do they not know that the very worst way to get help moving to Washington is to announce 'Hi, I'd like to move there from SoCal!'"? It's like asking for help about Tri-Cities by opening that you have a crush on Gerald Pollet. Yeah, that'll roll out the welcome mat.
I'm not saying people shouldn't help them, just marveling.
