If you'd like to fall under the magical spell of the west side of the Olympic Peninsula, there is a 200-acre farm, there for generations, and the owners operate their house as a B&B. It's near the town of Forks, bordering on the Hoh River and the Hoh Rain Forest, called Hoh Humm Ranch
The Hoh Humm Ranch
They have cattle, llamas, sheep, pigs, goats, chickens, dogs, cats and wild birds whom they feed. You can connect, or not, with the animals, and they welcome children and adults who want to feed and pet the animals. My personal favorite time there is when I enter the gate to the goats' area and the three gorgeous white Great Pyrenees dogs check me out to see if I am an acceptable companion for
their goats, then tell the goats "It's OK", I get to pet the dogs, and I get to feed the goats.
