Question What jobs in or around La Conner might one expect to find if college educated?

Just wondering what opportunities are available in that beautiful area. Are there more white collar jobs than blue?

There is some employment data at http://www.city-data.com/city/La-Conner-Washington.html but since the town is so small that data might not represent the jobs in that area. You could scroll down to where they list nearby towns and check out that data too.

LaConner is tiny and doesn't have any industries that I know of, just some art galleries, restuarant and shops. You could look around Everett, Mt. Vernon or maybe Arlington for work.

"What jobs in or around La Conner...?"

Agricultural.

There's basically no job market in that agricultural area. Try Everett to the south, Bellingham to the north, m a y b e Edmonds to the south of Everett.
There are a few regional businesses that HQ'd in towns such as Sedro Woolley, Burlington, Marysville, and so on. That can be a bit of a tight world of family and friends in such companies.

P.S. I Googled jobs la conner wa, and came up with pretty much nothing. Most interesting is this link
http://hotjobs.yahoo.com/jobs-l-La_Conner-WA
which indicates a couple of dozen jobs in "La Conner". They turn out to be in Mount Vernon, Burlington, etc....
