Hi I am moving to Bellingham. Can anyone tell me some grocery stores that they have there?

Did you Google Bellingham WA grocery stores? That will get you all the results. Haggen is a good supermarket, and the Community Food Co-op is really worth looking into.

My wife and I have been to the Haggen stores in Skagit County, and we both that the delis were about the best we'd ever had, in a grocery store.

Yes, they do, and they also have a pharmacy, and lots of flowers, books, magazines -- an oasis, really!
Their deli isn't like New York City.... but what is, outside of New York City?
Haggen's fresh foods are excellent quality.

Haggens? YUCK!
Haggens is to groceries what Disney is to "culture." And, it's more expensive than any store I've evern shopped at (hence, I don't shop there anymore). If you're really into chicken strips and potato salad, you'll probably like Haggens. Bellingham also has a food coop, a Fred Meyer, Cost Cutter, Grocery Outlet...and that's about it. We need a WinCo, a Safeway, a Whole Foods...OH, I almost forgot Trader Joes which opened up last year. Thank God!! TJ's gets most of my family's grocery dollar, for sure. Haggens has a pretty bad rep here thanks to employees who are very vocal about managment, and since they're headquartered here the word gets out just what a-holes the owners are.

You sound very negative about everything you have to say, just wondering why you are still there if it is SO horrible.
