Washington Nursing...
Does Washington have in-house nursing training for Lvn's or Rn's. Some hospitals and snf's train there nurses while they work in the hospital and take hand's on classes. I have seen this in cities ie. Pittsburgh, Chicago, and some in Cleveland.

I WISH!! Not that I know of. I've heard some facilities will help pay for your tuition, but you'd still have to go to classes..
I did it. (RN) You could work part time and take day classes. Most facilities are very helpful!

Sweet, I was thinking of changing fields very soon. I had worked in the medical field for almost 10 years(never worried about a job); the legal field is the pits right now. You really have to know some one that knows someone,"ya dig."
How about the living exp can a LVN or RN survive in WA. with a family of 2? The reason why I say LVN, is because it is quicker to obtain; my ultimate goal is RN. But I don't have time to sit in school for another 4yrs starving to eat. So basically I would have to go one step at a time...

"Survive", Depends on the area I guess. I am pretty sure its not too hard.
Most of the RN programs are only 2 years, and 1 if you have a LPN/LVN, so , that's not bad.
Where are you planning on moving too?

I was thinking about the Olympia/Kent/Bellevue; not really sure yet. I was a Phlebotomist for a good while, and also when I first started, I was a nurse assistant. With both fields and exp. I can challenge the CA. board of nursing. How about the pre reqs?
