LQQking for Frozen Arepas in Bellingham area
Actually this is for a friend in the area who enjoys these Columbian/Venezualan corn maize and cheese "pancakes" which are readily available whenever in Florida through groceries, Walmart and outdoor vendor carts... but can't find them in any of the obvious large or ethnic grocers in the Bellingham area. Wondering if anyone can point us in the right direction. Thanks in advance for any suggestions, including Seattle or Vancouver as last resorts. And yes, I've contacted Goya, a major brand but they do not distribute in the NW.
Delicious Arepas:

I know of only one place in Seattle that has arepas, a restaurant called Mojito Cafe , 7545 Lake City Way NE. One partner is Cuban, the other is Venezuelan. As far as frozen, I'm not aware of any, although the Slavadoran Bakery in White Center has delicious pupusas, which are a little bit similar.

Thanks for taking time to reply. We'll keep that in mind, sounds good, but still it would be nice to be able to bust a couple of them out of the freezer when as the mood strikes. Was hoping there'd at least be a few Latin food market suggestions to follow up on.

You might want to try the Guadalupe Supermarket in Burien. I've never gone there looking for arepas, but the place is huge and has a lot of Latin American items aside from Mexican.
