I must have missed something, because a couple of people have alluded to casinos but even after rereading I can't find what the OP said about wanting those.

Original post, about three paragraphs down:
will be moving more than likely with out a job. Which also gives me another line of questions. Is there gaming (casino, non reservations) in the state

I only noticed it yesterday, and figured it was one of the requests unanswered.

Thanks. I indeed missed it, probably because I actively tune out all casino-related anythings. Just as well, since I'm blissfully unqualified to comment on them.

Too bad more people aren't like you. Way too many comments are made by people completely unqualified to make them.

My pet peeve is comments made by people who did not even carefully read what I said or asked. If I want to talk to people who are not actually interacting with my actual words, and are reacting to things I did not actually say or ask, I can obtain that from Amazon or Sprint customer service. (Not, of course, that anyone has done that here. Just a general observation.)

Thank you all so much.

My interest are pretty boring, I am not a very social person. I get out for festivals and things like that. I am a boring person.

Default I can help

I've lived here all my life, and am a graduate of the UW in a related area (Geography). Our business puts us in touch with the hospitality industry, and we're familiar with the casinos.

Would be glad to advise you on your relocation. Charlie.

Thank You Charlie,

The reason why I am looking into Casino Industry while I am in school is I have worked at a state owned one here in Iowa and enjoyed the environment. I also already went through the Iowa gaming license check, and the federal background check. Which would make it easier form me to get into a field considering I have the experience.
On the other hand I also have experience in customer server and retail.

I'll just have to see how things go, it’s a LARGE area there

For the locations I am looking for, I have narrowing down my search for cities based on population and the lower crime rates. The list I have isnt that short now... but at least it a start!

Again to everyone, thank you so much!

Just out of curiosity, do the tribal casinos only hire tribal members, or is there another reason you don't want to work in one?
