I know, it's ridiculous! If would actually stick and be nice snow, I wouldn't mind it. But all we get is this crappy, slushy, messy snow that melts within an hour. If it's going to snow, snow. If not, pull out the sunshine and melt the clouds!

Sorta but not really. This is the second april in a row its snowed in both Vancouver and Seattle. Its just a change in the oceanic pattern in the pacific. Last 30 years the pacific has been in a warm phase, now its entering a different pattern.

The Pacific Decadal Oscillation has a huge effect on the climate in the PNW.

According to Weather Underground, 25 out of 31 days in March in the South Sound were below average in high temperature. Looks like April is starting out the same way.

Well it is snowing near the 'other' Vancouver too! (Columbia Gorge)

I will have to go cut ANOTHER load of firewood in the morning! This has been a long winter. The dog slept inside so often the possums took over the dog house!!
