Default Frontline Special on Puget Sound/Chesapeake Bay

For those who might be interested, Frontline is running a two hour special next week on the serious pollution issues of the Puget Sound and Chesapeake Bay. You can watch the trailer here: FRONTLINE: coming soon: poisoned waters | PBS

What's interesting is that the Chesapeake gets more than 10 times the federal funding due to its proximity to D.C.

Interesting. I have always wondered by the environmental whackos focus all of their energy in unincorporated King County, miles from the ocean, in areas like North Bend, Issaquah, Hobart, Enumclaw, etc. They should be working to reclaim with trees areas close to the bay, where industries and apartments and cars create spills and runoff goes straight into the bay. Land is always paved to every square inch. Industry and development should be encouraged on the outskirts, and the city should be reclaimed as much as possible.
