Bellingham for family of 3?
We are thinking of relocating to Bellingham in a year or two. I'm in my late 40's, my wife is in her early 40's. We have a 4 year old daughter.
We are historic preservationists / historic architecture buffs. (I guess that's why we like Bellingham.) We would buy an old home, most likely in South Hill or Fairhaven, possibly one that needs a restoration.
We have a few questions.
How are the schools?
Is it a nightmare there to do a restoration of an old home??? permits, city/county approvals, finding a good restoration contractor, etc??
Any complaints about Bellingham?
Any other comments about Bellingham?
