Tacoma area - Good Wings?
So we successfully relocated and have had some good local food but I'm already missing a midwest favorite - Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant. I love spicy wings, and their blazing wings were wonderful. Not too tabasco-y and not so hot I couldn't eat 12 of em.
So I saw a place over by the mall called "Wingers" but a local sales person said they weren't that good. Are there any other options? A google search for "wings" turns up some, though mostly in surrounding areas.
So perhaps there isn't anything named xxx wings, or wings and xxx, but what about some treasure trove of a bar and grill that has fabulous wings? (with a super hot option if possible)
Pizza hut wings aren't my cup of tea, but at least they are better than hooters.

You could try Pacific Grill in downtown Tacoma. They have wings on their bar menu. Only $3 during happy hour. I haven't ate the wings there but everything I have had is good. pacific grill ::

It's funny you mention this because I went on a wing expedition when I first got here. Didn't find anything decent though.
There's this little dive bar in North Tacoma that people say have good wings, but I haven't tried them yet. I can't remember the name, but it's around N. 49th and N. Baltimore.

The Seattle area has some very decent fresh local food and ethnic food, but when it comes to junk food it sucks.
I came from Los Angeles which is a junk food heaven 18 years ago and have never had a decent pizza, a decent chili hamburger, a decent pastrami sandwich, or decent mexican food. I fortunately have my own recipe for hot wings which I enjoy. If you don't mind frozen, QFC has a frozen variety that is pretty close, really hot and spicy. Throw them in the toaster oven and serve them with Lighthouse chunky blue cheese dressing and celery sticks. It only costs about $8. for 24 large wings. Don't buy other brands like tyson because they are terrible and have teeny tiny mini wings. Maybe you could write to your favorite resturant and get a recipe that will help you.
My stomach aches for you.

Well, ultimately it is probably best for our health. When we go and visit Kansas City once or twice a year we will just eat some there. Or, like you said, make our own.

I've got a great clone recipe for BW3 wings. It's pretty good and easy to make. PM me if you're interested in getting the recipe.
