I'm trying to narrow down my search area in Washington. I've visited NE Colorado several times and love the scenery there! Where is WA would I find similar scenery?

Well, let's see... Most people have never been to "NE Colorado", don't know what the scenery is like there, and know generic "Colorado" scenery only from movies, travelogues and Coors commercials.
It would be helpful if you were to give us some description of the kind of scenery you mean. Then perhaps we can provide you with some useful information.

Northeastern Colorado? It's flat, dry and windblown. Icy in winter and blistering in summer. Come to the Tri-Cities, which while not flat, is blistering hot and windy in summer, icy cold and windy in winter, and never ever gets enough rain. Do as I do and mow your yard when it's 110 F, or haul wood and shovel snow at 5 F! (Not much snow, of course, but when we get real snow it's usually pretty cold.)
