Default Everything but Marriage?

My partner and I are planning on moving to Tacoma area this summer with our two kids. We are currently living in a State that does not allow second parent adoptions. Is this an option in Washington. I can't find anything that specifically says one way or the other. Also if we have another child in Wa will both of our names be able to go on the birth certificate immediately?
If second parent adoption is a possibility what is the cost and how long does it take

thank you
Sue

Sue,

Washington State does not specific legislation enforcing, or banning, second-parent adoption. However, out trial courts generally grant them.

Hope this helps.
