Default Leavenworth, Yakima & Wenatchee

Hi. Are Leavenworth, Yakima and Wenatchee pet friendly? Want to bring my chihuahua. Any suggestions on pet friendly places to stay? Are there resturants where you can dine outside and pets are ok? Thanks.

Leavenworth is a resort town, so there are probably places to stay that will be happy to fit niche needs like that -- although possibly at a price.

Accommodation in Wenatchee and Yakima is basically going to be like you find in any mid-sized or large town. Wenatchee, which has some tourism from the apple industry, probably would be be more apt to have pet-friendly hotels.

More than anything, though, I'd just find some hotels online that look nice, check their pet policies on the web, and then call ahead to restaurants accordingly. That would likely be a more accurate way of securing your pet's place beside you than looking for a "pet-friendly town"; I doubt they vary that much.

Are there any specific criteria you're looking at when you say "pet-friendly"?

www.bringfido.com lists a few hotels/motels that welcome dogs (for an additional fee) in Leavenworth.

Alcon: Just looking for a reasonable place to stay. Hubby, me and our dog. Also outside dining that allows pets. Any name of hotels and resturants I can check out? What city would you suggest?

For a touristy experience, probably Leavenworth is the best bet, there are a lot of outdoor dining restaurants available there. Yakima not so much.

If you are coming from the West side, either Wenatchee (which I know less about ) or Leavanworth would be a better bet than Yakima, which does have some pretty downscale areas and would be further to go for probably a less enjoyable experience.
