Unhappy Drivers license test in Lacey, WA

How hard is it? What is it like? Is there much room for error?
I'm taking it soon and very nervous.

You will be fine Just go to the local DMV and pick up the Washington State driver's guide. If you read over it once, you will be more than prepared. I remember questions about appropriate speed limits on country roads and laws about passing/stopping for busses on 4 lane roads. Other than that, it is realy basic and you should be totally fine.
Good luck!

I don't think it's any different in Lacey than anywhere else. The written test is worth studying for, they ask arcane things like how close to a fire plug you can park, etc. that don't have a lot of practical significance in the real world (normally the curb is painted yellow in the no-park zone).

The driving test emphasizes slow-speed urban type manuvers like parallel parking and backing around a corner. These are worth practicing if you have not.

A good driving school is a big help, learning to drive in a parent's car with them as a teacher is not the best way to go for several reasons...
