Default Port Townsend Pet Friendly Dining

Hello. Any suggestions on outdoor dining that is pet friendly? Will be visiting and my Chihuahua is coming along. Thanks.

I should hope not. Who lets dogs in a restaurant dining area, even an outside one? My guess is you won't have much luck.

OK my dog goes with me everywhere in the truck. In a resturaunt in Western WA I know it is illegal to have animals in it.. I did work 15 years ago in a Tavern that did allow the local cat or dog in it but if the health department came around they would be busted, and not a diner by any means then.

I highly doubt you will find such a place........even if outside. Leave the dog in the car.

That's fine. Most places will let you get your food to go, and you can even share it with your dog in your car, or take it to a park.

You might call the chamber of commerce and ask them. There was mention of a cached website for a restaurant called MacAdoos BBQ, but perhaps they're no longer operating. There doesn't seem to be a PT listing on the following website:

DogFriendly.com - Washington Outdoor Restaurant Guide for Dog Owners

Good luck. You can always get a great to-go meal and have a nice meal with your pooch on the beach or something, no?

Thanks for your suggestions. Had a great time in Port Townsend. Ate at the Nifty Fifty diner. Sat outside on the patio with my dog. Great service, good food. Not only pet friendly but veggie friendly too. Saw alot of dogs in shops. Cool unique town.

Don't give up looking for pet friendly places to eat. They are everywhere so pay no attention to the crude negative comments. I visited Austin, Tx 2 years ago and took my dauschound and there were many pet friendly patio type restaurants. Cats and dogs alike were dining with owners. Must say they had better manners than some of you bloggers. Good luck!!

1) What did I say that was crude?

2) These aren't blogs. A blog is something different.

3) What's a 'dauschound'? I've heard of dachshunds, but obviously you must mean a different breed. I've never eaten one of those before.
