Default Is Washington a federal judge state or State judge state
Just curious if you get a speed ticket in Washington State would you go in front of a federal judge or a regular judge.

For a speeding ticket?
It would be a municipal judge, like City of Seattle, city of Bellevue, etc, unless you were caught committing a federal crime in addition to speeding.

I think the OP doesn't understand the difference between Washington State and Washington DC.
