There is a park in Colville, WA named 'Yep Kanum' -- does anyone know what Yep Kanum means or who/what the park was named for?

I just googled "Yep Kanum" Meaning and got this:
Yep Kanum" is a Colville Indian phrase meaning "a day for fun under the sun."
