Default Olympia area restaurants

I'm relocating to the Olympia area in a few months, and was wondering about the restaurant scene there. I'm a bartender/server and want to work in a place that's relaxed and has a good reputation. I'm currently in corporate, and I hate having to cover up my tattoo and being conservative with my appearance, as well as the ridiculous other stuff I have to deal with. Are there any restaurants that I should avoid? Any recommendations? I know people in the business talk, and it's a good thing to know ahead of time if the managers are sleeping with the staff, they're hell to work with, or if there's general problems behind the scenes. Thanks for any advice!

Are you already set on Olympia? Offhand I am thinking Seattle might be a better place to be a "Bohemian waiter". Lot of good and Bohemian restaurants in the U district.

I don't really know about any behind-the-scenes info about Olympia area restaurants, but you might be able to get a feel for some of them by reading the reviews on Yelp:
Yelp | Real Reviews by Real People

Lately, there have been quite a few active reviewers in this area. Most of them seem pretty accurate to me.
