So, I learned that Saturday and Sunday I have off from work just now and I'm wondering what can I get away with doing in a short weekend? I have to work on labor day , but at least its double time.

My criteria are that it must be driveable within 3-4 hours of Seattle, and can have an overnight stay. Shorter distance is fine. I'll call hotels ahead of time to ensure there's room, so don't feel constrained in your opinions.

I'd also prefer new places. I've been to these places:

Mt. St. Helens, Cascade Loop (Leavenworth, Chelan), Tacoma, the western peninsula, Vancouver BC, Whistler BC, Portland, and I've driven down the 101 along the coast before.
