Default Electric co's in Belfair?

Hi, I am moving to a new home in Belfair, WA and am trying to find a power company that services that area. I've already tried Puget Sound Energy and Tacoma Public Utilities, and they both do not service Belfair... I was told to look online and do some research.

I came up with Mason County PUD (public utility district) but am wondering if I have another option.

I don't know about this area but in most rural areas you don't have a choice of power providers, just not a big enough market to warrent running additional lines.

Oddly enough our rural home in Eastern WA has REA power, but Pacific Power & Light lines also run close nearby, so I could in principle switch. Probably REA has a better rate anyway, but if I wanted to go to the expense and trouble I could have, I guess, both company's power in the house - I'd also have 2 meters and get 2 bills, REA is reliable enough that I probably would be better off with a backup generator or just "grin and bear it" like we do now.

FWIW, power rates in WA are typically not bad.
