Don't forget about War Games w/ Matthew Brodrick....
The part where they are running to catch the ferry was filmed in my hometown Steilacoom...big news back then.

Actually, those forest scenes were filmed in Redwood National Park, California. It's easy to confuse the two, especially since they never really showed the height of the redwoods in the movie.

My understanding is that "Charlie the Lonesome Cougar" and a couple of other old Disney quasi-wildlife items were filmed out at an animal park near Sequim.

from lake havasu city, az
i read most of the psot here but i hope did not miss reading a few of them. anyway, was "Walking Tall" mentioned here? It starred The Rock and was supposedly filmed in Aberdeen. God I miss Washington!
So are there some more?
I will write down the list of these movies and rent and watch them on my vacation. Call it "Washington Film Festival of Imelda's Household".
Peace!
