movies filmed in washington
i know there are some pretty obvious movies filmed up here (sleepless in seattle) but it's interesting to find footage here & there. just recently recently rented a jack nicholson early film" five easy pieces ". the credits didn't really say exactly where it was filmed in puget sound. the ferry was quite small. anyone have any idea?

Also the Johnny Depp film "Benny & Joon" and last year's "Mozart and the Whale" with Josh Hartnett were filmed in Spokane.

Five Easy Pieces! Wow, that was a long time ago. Man, zenfull, I remember seeing that when it first came out as a kid in college but, ya know, I remember very little about what it was about.
I do remember that the ferry scenes were filmed in the San Juan Islands.

I can't believe The Ring hasn't been mentioned yet.
I remember when filming of Assasins with Sylvester Stallone and Antonio Bandares shut down the street near my house.

"10 Things I Hate About You" was filmed at Stadium High School in Tacoma when I went there my freshmen year. Also had spot parts at Gas Works.
