Default Commute Times

Would commuting from the Camas area to Woodland, Wa be reasonable? I would think it would be going in the opposite direction of the main flow but I am not sure. I am looking for a 30 minute commute time. Thank you in advance for all the great suggestions. I am so relieved to have found this forum.

30 minutes would be possible, depending on where in Camas you are. If you've got good access to Highway 14, it'll be simple, Highway 14 to I-205. You're going a bit out of your way in that drive, but you're going 60-70, compared to the 35-50 on surface streets. If you live up in the northern parts of Camas, and have to drive surface streets to get to I-205, it'll be a bit longer.

Personally, though, if I worked in Woodland, I'd probably pick Ridgefield or Battleground, or even Yacolt or Woodland, to live in (reasonable good schools, out of the Gorge winds and occasional road ice, away from the paper mill).
