All seriousness aside. The Olympic Peninsula is drop dead beautiful. Jobs are scarce, so the singles scene is challenging.

Port Townsend is a great little town, but finding young available chickies might be a bit rough.

Good luck.

Hey I worked in the woods years ago with a saw, weighed 100lbs and wasn't hairy!! Could kick some butt though!! I would think you could have a good chance in Sequim to pick up some blue hairs that could make you a toy!!

Kidding aside. Dockside (I think was the same) resturaunt in John Wayne Marina. Just ate there a coupld of days ago. It is defenitly some of the best food I have had on the coast!!

What do you consider cheaper rent? And have you looked at the Peninsula Daily News or the Sequim Gazette on line? They publish all of their classifieds. I would also make sure I have a job before I moved since things are no better here tjan else where.

Default everything is relative

If you like box stores and a walmartish retirement type town Sequim is the answer. If you want a less commercialized but still pretty hick town, that's PA. Port Townsend is much artier but extremely cliquish and hard to be accepted as a newcomer. None of these towns are great for community. But they have SO much potential. They are beautiful for scenery and natural amenities. Port Angeles in terms of night life you are choosing between casinos and sports bars that play non stop hip hop. There are a few bluesy bands as well. This will soon be changing to include a more eclectic bohemian scene with more dance oriented music and some great shows. So if you are into the more underground type stuff or if you are a burner PA is about to get a lot more interesting. i hope this makes Port Angeles the best place on the Peninsula to find a great artsy creative vibe. But if that's not your thing, it wont help

I have lived in PA and Sequim (mostly Sequim) and I really think that community is evoloving in Sequim, but there are alot of "blue hairs" as mentioned above.. it can be overwhelming at times.. especially driving around town... they are everywhere..
The Jobs are VERY SCARCE in both towns as you can see if you look at the online newspapers.. best of luck!
