Josh_1974 is on a distinguished road
but to take to a slightly more serious note-

this song is originally by dead can dance, who i never got into much, but i came to know it by a cover done by one of my favorite bands, RIDE. lyrics alone may not evoke much emotion, but to hear the song, it's very powerful...

Severance,
The birds of leaving call to us,
yet here we stand
endowed with fear of flight.

Overland,
winds of change consume the land,
while we remain
in shadow of summers now past.
When all the leaves
have fallen and turned to dust,
will we remain
entrenched within our own ways?

Indifference,
the plague that moves throughout this land

Omen signs,
in shapes of things to come.

time i bowed out of this thread, some things are better left as thought. responses were appreciated and affective, and no more are needed. thanks

edit - what the hell, here's a link to the song download
