Nice, always enjoy the water with mountain shots, Lamplight, but those nighttime ones are awesome in their own right. Keep shooting and sharing them!

Thanks! I never completely lose interest in photography, but sometimes my enthusiasm wanes. Lately that hasn't been the case at all, though!

Hiked to Oyster Dome today with a couple of friends. I was fine going up, but the decent did a number on my knees! Totally worth it though.

Lamplight, I hear you on the knee issue. I use to think I was odd that I preferred the hike up, after researching the issue, I broke down and bought trekking poles. Best decision ever. You will hike faster and easier, also the next day your body won't be as sore.

Join us, on the dork side. Become a hiker with trekking poles. It might not be as cool, but now that I am a real adult (eegawds when did I hit 30?!), I don't care about my image, I just care about not killing my body.

Thanks again for the pictures, love our beautiful state and you do a great job of capturing it!

Thanks guys! Perigee, I saw quite a few people with trekking poles, but I had no idea they were that beneficial. I'm also looking at tents, and I saw several which used trekking poles as supports, which seems clever to me. So I just might get some!
