I'm not sure of the precise mileage, but Mt Shuksan is just east of Mt Baker, which is about 45-50 miles from Bellingham.

My wife and I call the cold and wet feeling dank. I grew up in Edmonds so I know it well. Murky works, too! Good job with the pics! You are helping to keep Washington state alive for me as I work and live over here in Dodge City, KS. Lots of cowboy history here - Doc Holliday, Bat Masterson, etc. Actually a decent little town to live in - chocked full of exhibits and things to ponder about the opening up of the West and cattle drives up from Texas, etc.
