And this evening at work, I was really wishing I had my camera with me. There was a sailboat race out in the bay, and it was clear enough to see the Olympic range in the background. Quite a sight!
Lived there in 1995, only job I could come by was at Haggens. Was happy to have it. Made enough for my wife and I to live in a tiny studio. We were actually quite happy just to live in B-ham.

Nah... we'd prefer he'd remain unemployed and provide us with more pictures.

Looking forward whatever photos manage to come our way.

I actually tried to get a job at Haggen after I already had this job. It would be a huge improvement! But the job was for cashier, and I have no experience in that. I currently live in a rather spacious one bedroom apartment in the Fairhaven area and it's just under $700 a month. I could have gotten a studio downtown for $500, but I just didn't want to deal with all the traffic noise and loud music from the bars. Here I'm mostly surrounded by trees and I love it. Anyway, I did manage to get one picture today:

As you can see, this is basically the same scene that I described previously, only by the time I took this it was overcast and the Olympic range was nowhere to be seen. Also, this is a crop of a much larger picture, because the telephoto end of the X10's zoom range isn't exactly its strong point! But it was better than using my cell phone.

Actually I would never have guessed yours are cell phone pics! My phone can produce halfway decent shots, but in this case it would have been useless because I had to zoom in as close as I could, and not only does it not zoom at all, but the lens is extremely wide angle. The sailboats wouldn't even be visible!

Yes mine are just a 4S as we're out and about, nothing fancy at all. Love your photos!

I can't believe how fortunate the people of Washington are. I check the weather there generally everyday in Bellingham\Seattle, and compared it with the current in Texas. Today, it was 105 degrees where I'm currently at, and 56 in Bellingham where I want to be at. The difference in weather is unreal. I can't wait to get out. Keep my hunger alive and post more beautiful pictures.
I do the same thing, except I am comparing the Bellingham/Seattle weather to New York State. NY isn't as hot as TX, but it's still gross compared to Seattle! I love coming to this thread regularly to get my fix!
