It was in the high 40's on the beach and we took advantage of the sunshine. Enjoy the pictures of the Sandpipers in Westport, the wide open Grayland beaches, and Tokeland Marina.

I love these winter pics of the beach. A day like that in winter is actually great to get out there as few people are there at that time. It's almost like your own private beach for a while. It's so deserted sometimes I almost expect Charlton Heston to ride by looking for that half buried Statue of Liberty haha.

Default More Washington coast photos going north to south

A lighthouse on San Juan Island. Forgive the low quality. This was shot with my cellphone camera. Another San Juan Island shot with the cellphone cam. A foggy forest along the Olympic coast. The ocean is through the trees. <br>Rush hour at Pacific Beach, Washington Grayland, Washington. The ocean is about a half mile to the left of of this photo. Downtown Raymond Highway 101 snakes along an inland saltwater bay south of Raymond.
World's longest beach. The sign says so, so it must be true, right?

And here it is!!!!

Dense coastal forest at Cape Disappointment.

Overlooking the mouth of the Columbia river from Ft Columbia State Park.

Now that I think I have the hang of this, I may (moderator permitting) add more photos of our beautiful western Washington area soon.
