Wow, to come here all by yourself is admirable. I wouldn't have done it, if it weren't for my family here. Prices are just through the roof, and I doubt you will find a place to rent (that is livable) for less than 1000. Gas is OUTRAGEOUS, 348 a gallon today, and groceries are much higher than off island. No Safeway or Albertson's, unless you drive 30 miles north to Oak Harbor, or spend 15 bucks to take the ferry back and forth. Where do you live now? I sure would like to help you and educate you more, before you make this huge step. I wrote you a private message, but haven't heard anything back. So, just let me know if I can answer any other questions.
