Yeah, I've already been. I have a few leads, we'll see how it goes.

I already got one job offer but turned it down. They wanted 16 hours of UNPAID training, the job doesn't start for a week (by then I could have a GOOD job) it doesn't pay well, has ****ty hours, and I would hate what I was doing.

I'm willing to bend some but I can't think of a single thing I DID like about the job.

I'm sure you'll find something soon.
Either way, welcome to my corner of the universe.

Shadow, I'm so glad you made it up here. I'm not that far away so, again welcome to our corner of Washington. I've directed others to HeraldNet - Snohomish County's online news source which has an employment section. Or, if you don't have to make lots of money, I'm sure that Alderwood Mall is hiring in some of their stores. One of the bigger stores there will probably hire temporary help. That should pay the bills until the Verizon job comes good. It's tough being new and not knowing just where to turn for that job that will mean the most in helping you feel "at home" - meeting people and bringing in some cash quickly. Of course, a good street guide is invaluable too. It's always nice to be able to find your way home!! All the best with your search. I'll be looking forward to your posts too to see how you're getting on.
